If you need storage
STEP 1
Tell us your window
Rough drop-off and pick-up dates, where you are, and how much you're storing. Flexible dates = more matches.
STEP 2
Pick a space & request it
Browse spaces from verified Yalies near you. Send a request — the exact address is shared once the host says yes.
STEP 3
Drop off, then pick up
Coordinate the hand-off in chat, leave your stuff for the summer, and grab it when you're back.
If you have space
STEP 1
List your empty space
Closet, corner, basement, a whole room — add photos and set a monthly price. You can list more than one.
STEP 2
Approve who stores
You review each request and only share your address after you accept. You're always in control.
STEP 3
Offset your rent
Earn a bit toward your lease for space that would've sat empty all summer anyway.
Safety & trust
Everyone is verified with a real @yale.edu account. Storers agree to a prohibited-items list, and addresses stay private until a host accepts. story is a student-run pilot, not an official Yale service.
